I like the sounds you've used here. The Bass was heavy as fuck. Loved when the Amen peeked through near the middle. Drum 'n Bass should use that more often.

Just FYI, the vocals are from Damien Marley, not Bob Marley.

Demonicity responds:

are they rly from Damien? :DD
i didn't notice that FL said that its B Marley xD
but tanks anyway :3

This is sorta catchy... I kinda like it.

The vox are ok. Can't really make them out in the beginning though. I like the way they pan at the end.

Would love this as the synths used throughout are awesome but as a whole the track seems to not really go anywhere.

I love your body

Nice! I love the flute that pops up halfway through. I'm always a fan of trance tracks. In my opinion though this could use some female vox. That's just me though.

I feel like the drums could be a little tad louder. Particularly the Snare when all the synths are in focus. Notcied that towards the end I could hear the Snare more clearly.

Last but not least, the ending needs a tiny bit of work. The track shouldn't cut off like it does.

All in all this was noice! :)

thanks for the response man ;)

Watchu' kno' 'bout swag?

I know nothing about swag.

Diggin' the trap beat used in this choon though.

The skit at the end was hilarious.

RezzyTip responds:

Liberal! ain't heard from you in a minute my dude! and it's hard to believe someone else on this site likes trap beats besides me haha.

Nice! Getting very dark vibes from the first half bruv. Good work. :)

Luna-Sky responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you like it :)

This needs to be longer.

I feel like I only heard a small fragment of a greater whole....

For an intro, it's not bad at all.

visit soundcloud.com/terranation for the full song
reason why is short is beacuse song is signed and released on beatport.com

What a great piece. I especially liked the synths and pads used throughout the track They have that analogous feel to them which conjures up memories of sitting around my dad's old apartment zoning out to Enigma's first LP. Props to you on digging up said memories.

Now on to the negatives. Some of the words in the speech are hard to make out, no doubt brought on by the EQ'ing you've applied to the sample. Also, the drums sometimes sound as if they're off-kilter. Was that intentional? If so, kudos to you for humanizing them. Lastly, the ending just cuts off. If the rack segues into the next, then it fits. If not, edit it to fix the fade-out.

Overall, a great piece. Everything meshes together very well.

Canas responds:

Thanks for the input! The speech was intentionally meant to be somewhat inaudible, the effect intended was as if someone was speaking to you while you were dreaming, and in your dream you were underwater.. Haha I know that sounds silly but it's what I was after.

I tried an experiment with the whole song, I tried not using a metronome and synching the beats with how the felt instead of mathematically perfected. You're right about the end however, i'm not sure what happened but it wasn't meant to end so abruptly.

Again, thanks for the positive words!

Not bad man. Diggin' the kick. Snare, not so much. Doesn't hit hard enough ya know?

Love the synths you used. Very analogous. :)

What drum kit is the 'hi' sample from?

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

I can see what you mean that the snare doesn't hit hard enough. I tried stretching the snare out to make it interesting, and I think it's pretty unique. Thanks for saying my synths sound like analogue synths but I think I have a long way to go until I'm that professional ;) But I appreciate the compliment.

The "hi" sample is from the "LEX LUGER FLP" drumkit. I basically downloaded a pack with a lex luger flp and it was inside.

Nice! This has that J Dilla/FlyLo type feel to it. I really love the Rhodes sample.

I feel this needs a change-up somewhere, like a hook or b-section. The beat is fresh as hell but still drags a lil' bit.

Overall, great track! :)

ThaKidd responds:

Thanks man, I was really searching for a sound to fit but to no avail.

That was cool bruv. I really dig your style, hustle and flow, to put it in a different way. haha.

Who did the beat?

Teqneek responds:

Thanks dude! The beat was made by Ebon Hawk (credited in description, and I sent him a contributor credit thing, but he's disappeared from the face of the Earth.
