Yoooo, new Mao!

SIck bars mayne!

Descriptive nasty shit here.

"Swallowing a handful of moth balls."
"Rancid puddles, nasty butthole..." WTF, I love this shit.

"Cursed with words and letters of pure evil"
"Let's hit the floor til we reach the ceiling"

Sooo good!

Where's that beat credit tho?

MaoDaMighty responds:

Beat by G-Minor/B-RadGfromOV.

Beat's too quiet, ngl, otherwise I'd love this.

VoltDenatsu responds:

Also same<3!

How the hell am I just finding this shit? Did I space your PM's? Did you ever let me know you made these fire tracks on my beats?

VoltDenatsu responds:

I was on the site originally as Voltage but I had a terrible 2019 moment and deleted my account. There might be stuff on Reverbnation as Call Me Dogma (Maine artist). I can dig up the old tracks if you are interested.

Sick! Is there a finished version of this?

VoltDenatsu responds:

wow, it's the legend known as libby-shimmz.

Unfortunately no, I never recorded a master version. I felt uncomfortable recording just on your tracks and Shaggy's for almost a year straight so I went a different direction, which resulted in my laptop dying.

I would always be happy to do raps over accepted tracks by the legend themselves:D

Oof, I dig this sample!

RabbitG responds:

thanks m8!

Siiick shit! This sample is really good! That snare is crisp and sitting really nice in this cut.

RabbitG responds:

Appreciate bruv!

Wonderful melancholy. I could picture this being used in a movie.

LexRodent responds:

Would love to hear this as part of some OST.
Glad you enjoyed.

Gods above, that guitar is so melancholy and morose. Is that the Guitar patch from the Mellotron? I swear I'd recognize that timbre anywhere.

Lovely SFX throughout. The synth was a little jarring at first, but it grew on me. It kind of gives this an 80's synth chune vibe.

ForgottenDawn responds:

If I'm not mistaken, the guitar I used is Wremena One, by Elementary Sounds. Thanks for listening!

Reminds me of Daigo Hanada's Ichiru! Lovely sounds! Now I want this VST!

anthonyragus responds:

Thank you! I didn't know about Daigo before, but I super dig his pieces so far, and I appreciate his approach to the piano. Ichiru is a great example of emotional, rhythmic writing.

While I enjoy Keyscape as a whole, a major downside to its felted grand specifically is it lacks round robin, something I hope but don't expect to be updated. I find that in a mix, Kescape patches are perfect; as solo instruments, they need some extra effects/processing to sound real.

Yes, I believe in faeries. And goblins, and menads, and pixies, boggarts, all that Irish and gaelic folklore shit.

Lovely read! Do you do commissions?

DunSolVA responds:

I do!
